This is a textural image prompted by “yarn, wool, brown paper bag” and a few fluffy things. I mentioned a Chesterfield couch (cream, of course.) I need to make a note to learn how to identify different kinds of furniture styles. Knowing the names of things certainly comes in handy with prompting. So, I will just make a Word dox called “Furniture”. There I will include all kinds of pattern names and styles as well. I have learned a lot doing these prompts. It is an interesting way to learn about many facets of design. I like focusing on rough things with AI because it’s so good at smooth. I feel like prompting for things like paper, cotton, and wool creates more of a contrast and allows for a more realistic feel. It feels less phantasmagoric, although there is nothing wrong with that. I like both.
The secret to this one is that I opened with the wind by calling him a “windy fox”. That simplified that whole thing to two words and made it the priority in the image rendering. Then I could spend more words focusing on my materials.
Yet another example of working with an image setup that was going well, so I encapsulated it “into a glass sphere” just for the heck of it, to see what would happen. Here, I didn’t open with “in a glass sphere”. I put it further into the prompt. That made it less prominent and so that it didn’t encapsulate the entire image.
That is a “cloud of wool raining prisms of light on string, over his head”.
I just love the overall look of this one.
It was SO dry that the RAIN was even dry, poor king. Someone get him some oils, stat! I love that cloud though. It’s made of wool and wool thread.
I love this vampire.
Ah, the floor. He is in “royal Garb” and she is in a lace dress. I cannot recall the floor’s description but it was something like “tattered, rough, wood, chipping, colors” or some such thing.
I get the impression that this guy can suck the air out of a room. I would name it, Textured Narcissist.
She’s like, “I keep getting the feeling that there is someone else in the room!”
I love his turquoise royal garb. That is a nice Chesterfield couch as well! I specified that he is a “middle-aged man”. There is a really broad range for “middle-aged”. I use that a lot with my prompts involving women. If you don’t then they tend to be VERY young.
This is fashioned after a style of Chinese plate design called "blue and white chinoiserie”.
I also became interested in fashion terminology which led me to prompting this series of images. I have only just started with fashion. I will be expanding my horizons.
This is how it feels to walk into a cathedral.
Title: Amazingly Beautiful, Long-Necked Human.
Just kidding, HA!
I am not saying that beautiful redheads with long necks look like giraffes. I just think the above redhead’s neck might be a bit too long. Maybe I am wrong, it’s hard to be objective at this point. I still love the look of her. I like the strangeness of it. So, I decided to crack a joke instead of leaving her out. Sometimes the things that go wrong in an image are what make it better. And to me, the funny stuff is always the best.
I am watching that hand…..:)
We are losing some quality on the young lady in the back, however, it is still a beautiful product and worth keeping. It can be used in many ways if it is imperfect. It just needs a little babysitting.
I plan on having a lot more fun with patterns.
Let’s hope that’s not halitosis.
Ah, bliss. This one was worth it all. I am guessing this was the culmination. You start with something, make it better, make it better, make it better. Then, you have “it” the correct framework. Then you can tighten it up and be as precise and clear to reduce your text space down to the bare minimum. This way you can fit in clothing pattern names, colors, floor style, wall decor pattern name or style, extra lighting or glow-in-the-dark effects, and things of that nature. And the “serene expression” is really good at minimizing facial feature problems.
Sometimes the opposite of what you want is what is best. But given things to do with heads this month, I will pass on any tilt table tests just yet. Trying the opposite of what you normally do is good in art, in music, and life. I just don’t recommend being upside down right now if you are me. Sakes. My head is on vacation.
The girls in the background are all rather samey/drab, not to be rude, “I just calls ‘em like I sees ‘em.”
*clears throat, comports oneself.
Okay, I can’t say “cream pants” without getting a content warning, but when I say boxers this is what I get! I was expecting boxy boxers.
W O W.
This is a prompt based on a real building name and location. I used “vast distance” in the hallway description. That added all the air and light.
Heavens *blush. I would run to the store to get that guy a new mustache brush any day.
I feel like this guy would be thinking “I feel really good in these pants”.
Is that a string sticking out of your sock or are you just happy to see me?
I love this one; lookin’ snazzy.
Then I decided to turn my mind to wishing for magic and hope and beauty for people in parts of the world where things aren’t going so well. I used terms from my documents on Palestine and Gaza. I know nothing of these areas. I used names of buildings and writing styles and then inserted some hope, magic, and a feeling of protection in the form of horses and unicorns. There is a lasso of light that connects the people to their protection energy animal. The lasso is where their energy is bound together. That protection is for all people. I only wish for peace for all. I don’t claim to know anything about what is happening there, but I do know that I send love. I am not familiar with the buildings, I have never been there. If I have depicted anything incorrectly it is not out of disrespect but rather simply from ignorance. I chose horses and unicorns purely at random, or was it the stuff in the idea pool tugging at me?
Since we have been looking at horses, I have a few animals to share, which I will include here.
This one is prompted with an “elephant made with lapiz lazuli with pearl trim necklace, and detail.” I believe there is a “tilt-shift” perspective mentioned in this prompt to make the edges fuzz out like that and the perspective seems the way that it does. I probably said, “Tilt-shift up to elephant’s head”. A point of perspective like tilt-shift works the same way a “sphere of glass” works in the structure of the prompt. If it comes at the beginning it encompasses all. Wherever it arises in the prompt determines what it affects most directly. Nothing is ever always true. But this is how I think of it when I am making decisions on what words to pair and where to place my emphasis. You can use any language about camera angles whether you speak that language or not. Just look up the terms. Make a Word document for camera terms. Next thing you know, you are sitting on a Chesterfield couch, reading online about what kind of Nikkon you want to buy. Who knows, once you know a bunch of camera-related things, you might want to get a real camera. A human can dream.
Let’s set up that music room first.
This is a nod to all rodent friends everywhere. I had a hamster named Honey once and a white rat named “Mousie” and they were very important friends to me.
This is a representation of my old pug named Mr PP. That’s right, that’s his name,
Mr. PP. He is about 18 right now, mostly blind, mostly deaf, and desperately in love with his Daddy (my husband). He does the Scooby run when he sees him, his feet slipping sideways at full speed. He falls over 100 times in 10 feet when he is excited.
To all of those fellow humans who do not see themselves as a man(brother) or a woman(sister), I stand with you. May we work alongside each other to create peace in the world. May you have a feeling of safety and comradery and may you have what resources you need to be successful in this life. I am with you, whatever comes our way. We cannot be set against each other, we have too much love in our hearts to give to allow that to happen. May you have happiness and serenity. Soak in the sun and listen to the birds. Enjoy the natural world. *I will address the men in part 3.
Let’s make music while we are here in this matrix.
I look forward to sharing part 3 with you….
I am in the most extravagant and worth-it restaurant I ever frequent, here in my impoverished hometown. I'm having $45 duck breast, cooked to perfection with a savory berry sauce. I'm closing my eyes to experience it more fully. And I have nothing to do but enjoy your art with it, at a leisurely and luxurious pace. I'm also on my third glass of wine (mine since they don't have a liquor license) and that doesn't hurt either.
I only had to start a third row of pics on my desktop because these were more 'one-and-done', which is no slight. I'm so touched that you included Palestine in your magic web. My heart is wrenched for Palestine. Your images are a meaningful 'omage. It's not like there's anything any of us can do.
LOLs. 'I feel so good in these pants.' Mr PP and the Scooby Do run. Mousie-Honey making s'mores! "I would run to the store to get that guy a new mustache brush any day.'
And just in case you wanted to see that guy in motion, here he is: https://youtu.be/v2dkp2jMWRU?si=KCaJVtJkbW1WY1RC. He's totally my new crush. No textured narcissist. OMG I'm watching with the sound off in my fancy restaurant while eating chocolate mousse and espresso beans. I may self-immolate.
In the meantime, inane conversations are going on around me. Somewhere they're talking about the Gaza strip and bribing Egypt to get through. It's not a kind conversation. There's a lawyer at another table, regaling them with cases. But it doesn't matter, because I have you. I have the best of both worlds. I have you and breathtaking beauty with humor and insight. I have my astonishingly astute and prescient readers. I have people who get it. And duck breast and chocolate mousse with Pinot Noir from the Russian River, where I'm going with my daughters for my birthday. Could life be better?
Thank you 🙏💜🙏
