On the final day of the competition, Aldobrando Vincenzo was sitting in the room upstairs pining for his dark-haired beauty. It is said that he was once enthralled by a woman who performed one year, many years ago. They had a great romance. She lost her memory and disappeared.

He has never been the same since. He is a most eligible bachelor.

Luna Delgado, was her name:

She made quite an entrance and stole his heart.

He often thought he would see her on the stairs after she went missing.

Last year her niece attended and performed. She took his breath away as well. Her name was Mia.

He couldn’t walk through the mansion without “seeing her” somewhere when the light was just right

Longing to hold her, he simply gazed, Trying to grasp her, as if in a daze.

Was she real or a ghostly apparition? At that moment, he felt her everywhere.

And then she was gone. He looked for her everywhere.

Suddenly she was disturbed from her playing and looked up at the sharp sound of something strange echo, echo, echoing down the halls……RRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Other pianists were startled by it as well.

Many of them stopped mid-piece and were, therefore, immediately disqualified.

It turned out that The Leos we gathering together their collective energy to send a booming message through a centrally located portal in the mansion, thereby creating a huge, resonant lion’s roar that echoed down every hall. This was The Leos DEMANDING to be included in next year’s competition.

Casa Dei Portali Piano Competition’s board is in negotiation with them now.

Having listened to all the contestants, Aldobrando Vincenzo released all his hired help to clear the area and make sure no one was milling about as they made preparations to announce the winner. There was a lot of gold changing hands (more like trucks).

They cleared all the piano rooms and waiting areas,

And the practice rooms and the bars…

They double and triple-checked each portal and space in as much as you CAN…

….and told Hunko Towman he could go home.

They called Sophia Bianchi into the vault where Aldobrando Vincenzo’s uncle was waiting, and announced her as the winner! After that, they gave her a framed picture of her adoptive grandfather, who had suggested she take lessons from him in the first place. They had a special memento for each contestant as well.

Sophia told them that winning the gold “has brought me immense joy and pride, but more importantly, it will allow me to make a difference.”

“I don't see this gold as just a symbol of victory but as a tool for positive change. I believe that our community thrives when we lift each other up, and when we extend a helping hand to those in need.”

And Aldobrando Vincenzo, feeling moved by the whole experience all over again, decided that they would indeed host another competition next year!
