"I just love this green. I want to be sure to use more of it moving forward. I have always thought that this is a green that I cannot wear, but to heck with it. The next thing I find in this color, I am trying on!"
"You all bring me magic every time I come here. I hope to cultivate and share my own organic forms of magic by way of other expressions via acrylic art on canvas, illustrator art, and piano music; but for this moment I bring you AI promptings as thanks to you all for your good and beautiful work. It’s what I can manage for the moment. All the rest will come this year. I have much to do! All in good space/time."
Amy...you're MAGIC. You've shown my eyes things they've never seen before and my stomach hurts from laughing. Thank you for your presence in this Substack space...you ADD beauty & quality & adventure to my life!!!
I was just down to my last three desktop excessively glorious art objects from you. Good timing! And the synchronicity of saying "Creativity is our birthright" will fit delightfully with my latest, as you'll see.
I'll savor these when I get back from my hike on the Appalachian Trail with my Substack reader!
AWESOME! It's beautiful out today in Florida. I was pressure washing all morning. I am PLUMB TUCKERED out. ENJOY your day! I will be catching up on your latest this week.
This is a lot like looking across the Grand Canyon. It’s just too much. Beautiful art, but I’d need days just to soak it in. I’ll do my best with the time I have. 😊
I am sure, given a recent description that I have read from Christopher Cook, that looking at the GRAND Canyon is MUCH more in every way. (I have never seen it, I am afraid) But I appreciate it. : )
I needed this today, Amy. I love the way you talk to me, as someone wise once said! I now have 22 pics ready for loading into my desktop and that's just from Pt 1! They look so different when they take up the whole screen but they're a secret until I open my laptop, just peeking around the windows.
First pick pic, the lotus mansion bubble. We have so much to get away from.
The psychedelics sometimes gave me the heeby jeeby squeamies. But the man stuck in chandelier had to come home with me because chandeliers, duh!
Your favorite was mine. I want to get a face tattoo!
"May the two, bound together in vibration become singular in purpose" So beautiful!
I had to make sure and double check that I hadn't missed the glowing guppy, but got 'im.
I've been taking your advice about taking a break from something that brings you down, and the giant mountain poppy definitely makes me feel hopeful.
Loved tree lady and took me awhile to realize they were all little trees and not broccoli.
I'm gonna use hieroglyph lady striding with her pack of wild ?????
The leaf-crest made me hopeful too. All the little people tending it.
Big stork and Big Gold Boots both made the cut.
Likewise green lady with lichen and ebony gal with dandelion seed hair, who looks like my niece.
Crystal eyes and purple pawed sphinx made it on the second round. And I can NEVER get enough of Japanese chicken yodeling. How did you find that? And the Gregorian chants made me smell incense, honest to God. Brought me right back to my favorite hermitage with the silent monks.
Rosy angel and rainbow 'fro are great but the paper mache gargoyles are to die for!
Chartreuse and periwinkle are my favorite colors! I used them for my wedding. The sun w/o DST I went back to rescue. My town has voted out DST! We'll see how that goes.
And all the lavender Egypt ones will brighten up some dire post of mine soon. Funny, on my hike today, I was explaining why I didn't like having online friends, because then I had to consider who I'd offend when I talked about something. But as we parted, I joked that I'd make an exception and she said, "No, we'll be sisters! You can always say offensive things to your sisters!" So your ending made me laugh with affection. Disagreeable sisterly affection.
She's on my ex's side of the family and has the Columbian dad who died recently, who I wrote about in this, that I know you already saw: https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/the-detritus-of-a-life. So yes, my SiL jokes that the only thing she inherited from her is the second toe that's longer than the big toe. Otherwise, she has all of her dad's annoyingly handsome looks but is much less annoying about it ;-) And went through a phase where her hair was every color of the rainbow, I'm told. It's a different ethnicity but there's still some quality that seems to match, to me.
Ah! Your town voted out DST? How long ago was that? I am curious how that's going. I mean, my sisters have no trouble saying offensive things. PAHAhahah. Sorry sisters, but own yer shit. It's okay though, she's right. You can get away with it. Don't worry. We don't have to agree on everything to be friends. That would be a ridiculous stipulation. I love chartreus and Periwinkle! That's a great combo. You have excellent taste. I believe the Japanese Chicken Yodeling is attributed to @ratsays I probably should have mentioned that considering how popular it is. HAHhaa. I love that you loved that part. That tells me a lot :) It's good stuff. I will have to look back to see who ebony gal with dandelion seed hair is. I will let you know when I figure that one out. At the moment my brain is like .................beeeeeeeep.................................:) Am TARred. Gonna sleep like a baby tonight! I am glad you had a nice time today. You can be disagreeable, I will get you tea and nod my head a lot. :)
This summer (actually spring since DST is 7 mos. of the year, making the arbitrary decision that we all get up an hour earlier the default) will be the first since the vote. So we'll see how it goes. I did rants against DST back when I had a radio show a dozen years ago but I didn't know it was on the ballot because I don't pay attention to that.
Oh, someone to get me tea and nod their head a lot when I'm disagreeable ... what a dream.
Magnificent.

I do too!! It's chartreuse!! a gorgeous colour.

SO TRUE!!!
Each of her creations is a world in itself.
“I keep my energy more protected lately.” 🙌
I think I just copped a buzz from this.
Nice!

I figured out who the ebony girl is. Your niece must be beautiful!

and then i gave up ~
and now i see you moving into that place
past the words ~
it lifts me
up
You seem to be very good at finding words. This is beautiful
"Okay, you should probably turn off the Japanese Chicken yodeling now."
WOW!!! my ears had no idea this even existed.
