Thank you, Rebecca. That means a lot to me. I did learn a lot and that was cutting the list in half! I have much to learn this year as well. I am grateful.
Incredible, what a journey this took you on. The mural is amazing, you knocked it out of the park even through some tough obstacles. Thank you for sharing this and the lessons you’ve learned along the way.
Thank you so much, Jenn. I really appreciate it. I feel like the being there and the lessons I learned through the process are the most important part. I look forward to do much more of this in 2025. I will be buying MDO boards and working in Illustrator this year, and sketching/doodling a lot more! You have to stay in practice, we can't let all these techy way of making art take away our drawing skills!
I know what you mean. The learning was worth the struggles, and I think that holds so much value. It really did turn out beautifully, though. I’m excited at what must be ahead for you and in awe of your talents. Yes indeed, were must continue to practice those tangible foundation skills. Much love and luck to you as you journey forward ☺️❤️
Your textured mural is so deep and beautiful, Amy! And all the thoughts and dreams that went into it and came out of it! Those stories are mind-blowing or Godsmacked, as Mary's spell check coined it. Cocoa??? Congratulations. Let God do the sunbeam.
Despite your challenges of working on a warped surface, you managed to create a masters. I love where the ocean and land meet. I miss being there near water. I think most of my learning is done in the present moment. I never thought of that being a learning process all it’s own. Beautiful Amy, thank you for sharing! ✨💜✨
Love the notes to self. Talk to rocks. 😂 But if a tree talks to you, don’t listen. The mural turned out awesome! The greater the challenge, the greater the reward.
And if things in the mural aren’t perfect, that’s as it should be.
You, as an artist, are endowed with Artistic License!
Thanks for sharing all your thoughts and art Amy! 🙏💕
Love, love, love the mural, your story of it all and everything you learned.

Yep, never trust anyone under three. ;-)
The mural; Nice! I remember reading that da Vinci did a mural, an encaustic on stucco that wax, Mediterranean weather, didn't work out.
That's so funny! They remember too much. Hahhaa.
Oooh it is a wonderful mural!!
