I keep an eye on "what's going on" in small bits here and there. I don't hold onto any one idea for too long. I believe in the power of our focus and what we spend our time thinking about is put forward more than the other stuff. Our focus gives it more power. So, yes, I keep an eye on what is going on and I go through sadness, exasperation, fear, anger and general upset.
Then I move on to accepting that all I can effect is what is right in front of me, and sometimes what is far away as well. I mean we all effect each other.
Also, when I am happy, I have more energy, life is brighter and I get more done. So, I don't go around trying to convince people of anything. I just go around looking after them in general and trying to help them when they need help and removing myself from them when they try to suck all the energy out of my body.
It is my belief that the love I show people will get more people interested in my point of view, than me trying to get them to "just listen to 10 minutes of this". I have tried that early on and had very poor outcomes.
I don't hide. If someone asks my opinion they get it. If they interject theirs, then I let them hear mine. Or I say something to indicate that I do not agree and wait to see if they are interested to know more.
It is my belief that if people do not want to hear, it doesn't matter how good your info is.
