Wondrous human artistry shining through, go figure! :)

Well said :) Haha. I keep questioning my presence with AI, but it's so fun. It's like my version of a video game; or a create-your-own ending book. I am always curious how it will respond to new words and phrases that I collect in the world. It causes me to visualize new lessons I am learning a lot of different kinds of things at once, so creating visualizations helps me to solidify them in my brain on a timeline (if that makes sense). It's like a visual learning diary. I was thinking that I could use AI to support nature and wouldn't that be cool? I have that under my hat for the coming year. I want to find a way to make that work. You know, use the tool for good. If it's out there being used for bad.....I appreciate your indication that the human shows through. Haha. Thank You.

The style of your (co)creations is distinctive; reflecting, I guess, your particular and growing expertise with the medium and its tools: phrasing, filters, iterations... and I don't even know what else. Source models? Fascinating and beautiful, in any case!

It's really a matter of the AI itself and how it interprets certain things. I cannot take any credit for that. I come up with the ideas to try, that's the extent of my "prowess". I keep a word doc of words and phrases and incorporate anything I am learning about that I perceive as a possible new visual effect. I look up the details on things to use very specific language for what I want. I use camera angles and physics and stuff like that to change the view, and so on. It has been educational. I know things now that I didn't know when I started "just for fun", which is still why I do it. I don't have source models because I am using the free version that allows the least amount of input. So, I prioritize. What is the view, what is the material, what is the subject matter, details about that, what is the background, what is the mood or style or other applicable areas? If it's not focusing on something and continuously screwing up an important element, I move that element up in the list. The earliest things in the list are hit on most prominently. I just work from there. There are much better versions than the one I use. For example, I am working on a tarot deck for Demi and the program won't give me what I need for the very involved World card, so I will be pulling that one into Illustrator to make it work. But I can do what I need to do just for fun without any other tools. I don't really want to invest in it, I would rather invest in my music or my personal painting or illustrator art first. I will take it as far as it will let me go for free.

Awesome, thanks for the more detailed view behind the scenes. I still call what you do human art, because that process you describe is what artists do with any medium: creating--or rather, cocreating, with the medium! :)

BTW, what is the free AI engine that you use?

As an example of what it does and does not pick up, if you look back at this post, number three is a black hole sun in a flower sort of situation. Here is the language I used for it. It gave me many highly variable results. "puckered tiltshift/ dielectric black center sun blazing magnetic rays of sunlight on white space following a sine wave on analema/ vast distance away- torus feild/ soft Stellar aftereffects in pink, red, bright yellow, orange. after effects on view in background. Bullet rosettes / Fernlike stellar dendrites of neon pink and neon yellow faraday wave and cymatic patterns in symmetry. Frequency in a 12 circle wave Through water and air. ether. tranquil and warm"

Awesome collection Amy! So excellent, and shows your true artistic talent just from your amazing skill of promoting.

Hubby has been playing with Runway and Midjourney for movement. You need a subscription. Stay incredible! 💖💖💘

When I go to sleep tonight, Amy, I'm going to count this as my miracle. I was just really needing this right now. How did you know?

I just had two major things go sideways. One was my cement guy not showing up on the last day before the permit goes up by $400. I think they'll give me an extension. But as you say, it's guvvamint. You never can tell.

And then I opened a random envelope, thinking it was another privacy disclosure or somesuch from Fidelity. It was the whole 401K disbursement, with massive taxes withheld. Holy shit! That wasn't supposed to happen. I think it can be reversed, unless it's a sign I won't live 20 more years and should spend like there's no tomorrow.

It requires so much zen to stay calm when your retirement almost went into the recycling bin. The money stuff is so stressful and complicated, even when you have it.

So I was making myself feel better by wrapping a little present for my daughter, who's coming into town tomorrow. And then I opened your stack and it was presents for me!

I could have stopped at 'When New Information Makes You Spring To Your Feet. You are suddenly happier and more interesting' (tiny change) I paused a long time there and took deep breaths. But the hearts (not hits) just kept on coming. Amy, your sense of poetry adds so much. Your phrases are evocative and funny and witty and wise:

The Black Hole Sun Goddess; The Greatest Of All Times, Frequency (definitely stole the goat for my desktop) What Have You All Been Becoming? I See Much Beauty Here; Holding Fire For You, Symbology of Ang(les); Sun, Gazing; Share With People, Document, Write, Create, Publish, Play Music, Dance, Move, Learn and Do Your Magic~!; When They Are Presented To You, You Will Vibrate With The Truth Of Them; Fierce And Unrelenting Spread Sheet Making (hahaha!); We Remember A Better World (def stole that); That Moment When You Realize You Know The Name Of The Dragon Chasing You And You Call Him Out By Name! (Tales of Earthsea, amiright?); Sweet Rest In a “Crewel” World! and Birth of Man, Atom--the Skin So Newly Worn has to live on my computer forever.

All of your models make me want lip injections, even the babies. Thank you, my sweet!

Ah, the babies. They are SO CUTEY in real life, and pretend reenactments of real life through AI. :) Don't bother with the lip injections, your face is perfect. That's funny though. HAhaha. Money can be stressful even when you have it, yes indeed. My friend calls it "life energy", I like that. Here's some extra life energy. It really is like that. May all the people in the world have what they need. So many people strive so hard and so long that they have the life sucked right out of them and what we see is a shell of their 3d potential. May all people have what they need. I am glad you got an extension on the F#$@ery. *wink (no one will EVER figure out what I mean there). Thanks for letting me know that my communications between images make a difference. That will solidify that in my brain.
